| WHY HALAL DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS? |
Islam emphasizes immensely both on the physical and spiritual purity and cleanliness. Islam has laid down three most important guidelines for consumption of any food and drink.
1. Do not take any food/s which is/are prohibited by Allah.
2. All food's ingredients must be obtained from Halal (lawful) way/sources.
3. Must not take anything that’s harmful to your health / body.
As we all aware that the dietary supplements are alternative of foods and are not life- savers so if it is Haaram (unlawful) that we cannot take it period. Also, our body is an ammanah from Allah SWT so it’s obligatory on every individual to keep his/her body healthy and abstain from Haaram. Through various ahadiths, it is made clear to us that in order get our supplications (dua) accepted we need to have Halal/lawful food or diet or nutrients which do not contain any Haaram/unlawful ingredient/s.
